About Us

We believe dialogue is the difference that is going to make a difference. We exist because we believe collaboration is not knowing what we are capable of together.

Let’s chat

A team of seasoned practitioners

We are a team of seasoned practitioners looking at organisations and the multiple contexts they exist in seeking to understand both its situation and the skills, capacity and adaptability of the people within it. Genero looks to align structural, cultural and strategic realities to the realities of the external pressures of the business climate.

How we work

Planned Change & Generative Change

Genero gravitates toward generative change processes. Rather than providing visions and top down implementation of plans, we host conversations where diverse views and ideas lead to the emergence of new possibilities. People are encouraged and supported in advancing new ways of talking, thinking and acting. Successful advances and adaptations, along with new supporting narratives, are spread through-out the organisation. We encourage Leaders to endorse and provide resources to these activities, while not directing them.

We sense that Diagnostic Organisational Development is better suited to complicated, technical problems while a Dialogic Approach is better suited to complex adaptive challenges.

Organisational problems are now more complex, ambiguous and uncertain than ever before. As Dialogic Organisational Development Consultants we are returning to the roots of OD’s original Spirit of Inquiry.

Enablers of Change from the Dialogic Mindset

Emergence

Stimulate the processes of disruption and emergence to facilitate self-organising that creates new pattens of organising better suited to current needs and conditions.

Narrative

Change the core narratives that guide thinking and acting.

Generativity

Create generative conversations that produce new ideas and allow people to think and act in ways they couldn’t consider before.

Genero learning lab modules

Genero Learning Lab Modules promote holistic problem-solving and better decision-making. They achieve this by using interdisciplinary conversations to explore complex issues, emphasizing the interconnectedness of different contexts to help individuals and groups understand systems and their relationships more deeply. This fosters empathy and encourages innovation.

Overview of the Labs:
